Charles (who is mostly known as Charlie) is one of the founding directors of Carter & May and previously spent several years working for a well-known corporate company in several locations across Dorset.
Originally from Dorchester, Charlie moved to Salisbury when Carter & May first opened and loves the city. When not at work Charlie enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid football fan and has a strange passion for weather!
Charlie’s role in the business is predominantly conducting valuations and ensuring that all sales clients are kept fully informed.

Jake is one of the founding directors of Carter & May and previously spent several years managing two well-known corporate companies in Salisbury. Jake has also worked in several other towns adding to his vast knowledge of the estate agency business. When not at work Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and two children Ava & Luca. Jake enjoys a varied role at Carter & May dealing with both sales and lettings clients.

NEW FOREST DIRECTOR
Ben joined Carter & May in January 2020, having previously run a successful estate agency in Ferndown, and brings with him a wealth of experience in the industry. Ben covers the New Forest, Ringwood and Bournemouth area, is married and has a pet dog named Eric after Eric Cantona!

Tim joined Carter & May in 2017 and brought with him a wealth of experience in the industry. Formally a branch manager of a corporate estate agency in Amesbury Tim has been bought into the business to continue Carter & May’s good work in the Amesbury area.
When not at work, Tim enjoys spending time with both his partner Fran and their young daughter and is also is a keen cricketer.

OFFICE MANAGER
Luke joined the team in 2024 as Carter & May’s office manager to help keep the team organised with the busy day-to-day goings on, and run the all the behind-the-scenes bits needed to help keep the office ship shape.
With a degree in journalism with English Language, Luke likes to think of himself as a linguist who has developed a passion for property descriptions – and has a particular penchant for classical Greek literature.
After a long day in the office he loves nothing more than going home and cooking up a storm in the kitchen, has a particular interest in all things fashion (he has over 30 pairs of shoes!), loves spending time with his partner on weekend excursions, and will entertain any excuse to go to the pub.

Naomi has been part of the Carter & May Team since 2013. In her 11 years in the industry she has become a key part of our lettings business and manages relations with both our tenants and landlords ensuring a fully comprehensive lettings service for all. Naomi is a member of ARLA and keeps up to date on all aspects of legislation for lettings.
When not at work Naomi enjoys keeping fit having completed two marathons, spending time with her husband and cooking.

Natalie joined Carter & May in early 2024. Her property career started ‘some’ 23 years ago at a local corporate estate agency and she brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry.

Sue started her career in lettings back in 2000 and joined Carter & May in October 2021 following the acquisition of LD Property Management property portfolio. Sue has a good, long-standing relationship with many of our landlords and when she’s not dealing with the many different aspects of the letting process, she can be found baking lemon drizzle cake for the team to enjoy!
Outside of work – Sue enjoys spending time with her family, eating out, going to the theatre and concerts where possible and also enjoys her garden.

Chawley is a Local Mortgage broker who works for Soper & Co mortgage brokers. He’s been advising the people of Salisbury & the surrounding areas on their mortgages for over 10 years. It’s his goal to always make the client journey hassle free, quick and easy, and most importantly, cost efficient.
When not sat at his desk talking interest rates & redemption penalties, Chawley is a keen sportsman albeit his knees prefer when he watches his sons in action these days.
